Australia’s green bank has reached a new milestone, helping unlock $105 billion worth of clean energy projects since inception, after a year of record breaking investment activity. 

The CEFC Household Energy Upgrades Fund™ (HEUF) has helped Australian households slash energy bills by up to 80 per cent and backed $1 billion in low interest loans since the program was launched two years ago. Thousands of Australians have used HEUF finance to install solar, batteries and energy efficient electric appliances including heat pumps, induction cooktops, air conditioning and EV chargers.

The CEFC has committed $100 million to unlock the ‘missing middle’ of Australia’s clean energy transition, working with Infradebt to accelerate delivery of mid-scale renewable energy assets, financing the development of up to 16 hybrid solar, battery and battery retrofit projects.

The CEFC has committed $150 million to expand access to discounted finance for ANZ’s small and medium enterprise customers, as rising energy and operating costs drive demand for lower-cost, energy-efficient equipment.
