Women in Sustainable Finance
Women in Sustainable Finance (WISF) is an industry initiative backed by the CEFC to promote and support the involvement of women in the sector
through a range of networking, educational and leadership opportunities for industry participants.
The aim of WISF is to connect like-minded people keen to progress sustainability outcomes in investment and finance.
about the NETWORK
WISF was established in 2016, filling a market gap at a time when interest in sustainable investment was gathering momentum. What began as a single event at the CEFC Sydney office with about 30 attendees has grown to an active network of more than 1,500 people.
There is no formal membership of the WISF network and events are open to all. WISF events reach a broad cross-section of leading professionals working within the finance and investment sectors, including those in investment funds, banks, consultancies and environment and sustainable development organisations. WISF also connects professionals across corporates and energy companies.
WISF EVENTS
WISF events feature leading speakers on a vast range of industry topics pertinent to the sustainable finance sector. Previous events have included the circular economy, gender-lens investing, renewables investment, sustainable transport and impact investing. We host online events as well as in-person events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
