Delivering on our net zero future

The CEFC has a unique place in Australia. We’re investing as our nation’s ‘green bank’ to help counter the effects of climate change. It’s about creating a sustainable future for households, businesses, farmers and climate tech innovators, so that we thrive in the net zero economy of our future.

As a specialist investor, we see this ambitious and exciting nation-building transformation delivering benefits right across our economy. Everywhere. Every day.

In providing this report on our 2024-25 performance, I am proud to share detailed information about our latest transactions, which featured a record $4.7 billion in CEFC commitments, delivering $25.7 billion in total transaction value. We made our largest-ever transactions in transmission, as well as accelerated the net zero ambitions of our co-investors across natural capital, property, transport and resources.

It was truly a remarkable year, where the impact of the CEFC benefitted from the vital collaboration and support of the Australian Government, co-investors, industry and many portfolio companies. On behalf of everyone at the CEFC, we thank you.
