Our investment

A strategic equity investment from Five V Capital and the CEFC, through the Powering Australia Technology Fund, supports the next growth phase of Agile Energy, a leading Australian commercial and industrial (C and I) renewable energy platform.

Agile Energy has already successfully deployed more than 50 MW of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)-based clean energy assets nationally across the manufacturing, distribution, industrial, retail, aged care, construction, healthcare, logistics and property sectors.

The investment from the CEFC and Five V Capital marks the beginning of an accelerated expansion for Agile Energy into broader industries and customer portfolios. Agile plans to deliver more than 200 MW of projects under long-term PPAs.

The capital commitment will enable Agile to build, own and operate distributed clean energy assets for Australian businesses, delivering stable, low-cost renewable power without the need for upfront customer investment.

OUR IMPACT

Tapping into potential

Australia is a world leader in solar PV, with more than 40 GW installed. 1 However, there is still a huge, untapped potential for rooftop solar. Despite more than 28 GW of rooftop solar potential for C and I consumer energy resources, Nexa Advisory reports only 5 GW was installed in 2025.2

By supporting the growth of innovative providers in the C and I sector, the CEFC can enable more companies to cut energy costs, reduce emissions and contribute to Australia’s clean energy transition.

By working with Five V to invest in Agile Energy, the CEFC aims to accelerate the company’s expansion into broader industries and customer portfolios.

Agile Energy is a fully integrated platform that can develop, fund, construct and operate C and I renewable assets at scale combining:

Long-term PPA models with no upfront capital requirement for customers

In-house EPC and asset management capability

Advanced battery integration and lifecycle monitoring through a digital platform.
