CEFC named Diversity Council Australia 2025-26 Inclusive Employer

17 November 2025
The CEFC has been named in the Diversity Council Australia (DCA) Inclusive Employers list for 2025-26, recognising its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
The recognition follows CEFC participation in the Inclusive Employer Index, an in-depth workplace survey that measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences.
The Inclusive Employer Index has enabled the CEFC to evaluate the current state of inclusion in its workforce and compare it to the Australian workforce and DCA member benchmarks. The data can be used to show commitment to inclusion, reflect on achievements and identify ways to improve.
To be recognised by DCA as an Inclusive Employer, organisations must exceed the National Index Benchmark across several key diversity and inclusion areas. DCA released the 2025-26 Inclusive Employers list today.
CEFC CEO Ian Learmonth said: “Our recognition as an Inclusive Employer is welcome acknowledgement of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion. It reflects our drive to develop an inclusive workplace culture that continues to grow stronger, where every individual feels respected, valued and empowered to contribute.”
The CEFC was previously included in the Diversity Council Australia Inclusive Employers list for 2022-23.
Research by Diversity Council Australia shows that workers in inclusive teams are:
- three times less likely to leave their organisation
- more than twice as likely to work extra hard
- four times more likely to provide excellent customer service.
DCA CEO Catherine Hunter said: “DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index shines a spotlight on employers who are creating meaningful change and inspiring others to follow their lead. At DCA, we know that when workplaces actively foster inclusion, employees are more engaged, innovative, and motivated. It is inspiring to see all the phenomenal work being done across Australia to build fairer, more inclusive workplaces.”
