Consumer and business finance

More Australians are putting sustainability plans into practice with CEFC-backed discounted loans and services

Working with financiers to get things done

CEFC finance gets homes and businesses electrified, families and commercial fleets into electric vehicles, and enables the uptake of solar, battery and energy management technologies for residential and industrial settings. Building managers can cut their carbon footprints through improved thermoregulation and electrification, manufacturers can upgrade their equipment, and farmers can employ technologies and processes to boost productivity and improve resilience to climate change.

We work with financiers, tapping into their industry experience and customer networks, to help individuals, farmers and businesses gain greater control over energy costs, reduce the rising costs of living and doing business, lift productivity, cut emissions and support better environmental outcomes.

Our finance partners assess applications and make lending decisions on our behalf, offering loans and services that can cover up to 100 per cent of the cost of eligible equipment, vehicles or projects.

Since our work with financiers began in 2013, more than 123,000 small-scale projects have benefited from $4.2 billion of CEFC and third-party capital to 30 June 2026.

Please contact the financiers for more information about products or to access finance.  The CEFC does not directly offer loans to businesses and consumers and is not involved in individual financing decisions or loan administration.

The CEFC does not encourage, promote or endorse products or associated companies for the installation of their products.

We rely on collaborations with financiers to deliver products that support eligible energy efficiency, low emissions and renewable energy technologies. These financiers pass on the benefits of lower-cost CEFC finance to their customers.
