CEFC investments recognised in IJ Global Awards
The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) and the Rewiring the Nation Fund have been recognised at the IJGlobal Awards, which celebrate leading energy and infrastructure transactions across the Asia‑Pacific region.
The awards highlight projects that have demonstrated excellence in structuring, delivery and market impact across large‑scale greenfield and refinancing transactions.

Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Network (4.5GW)

Recognising market leadership
The Central‑West Orana REZ transmission project is a priority development identified by the Australian Energy Market Operator and will support large‑scale renewable generation in New South Wales. Through the Rewiring the Nation Fund, the CEFC committed up to $750 million to support the project, with private sector capital subsequently crowding in.
The $50 CEFC million investment in Intellihub supports the accelerated rollout of smart meters and behind‑the‑meter technologies, helping households and businesses better manage energy use and participate in the energy transition.
The IJ Global Awards recognise the role of innovative financing and public‑private investment in delivering complex, large‑scale energy infrastructure critical to Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy system.
